White Elephant
From Irish Roleplaying and Gaming Wiki
White Elephant (or 'Wele' as it is sometimes known) is a 'gaming fanzine' published by the IGA. Volume One was edited by Fergal O'Brien and Oli Bird and ran for eight issues. It's perhaps best known for it's 'Rantastic' column, which took an egalitarian approach to gaming - and tried to offend everybody. Volume Two is currently being edited by Aidan Walsh and Anton Sweeney. It is free of charge and is usually distributed through games shops and at conventions. It can also be downloaded from the IGA website (link above).
White Elephant aims to publish news and articles of interest to gamers in general, especially those based in Ireland. It also features club reports and contact details and events listings. Anyone interested in submitting articles, artwork or advertising may do so by mailing elephant@gaelcon.com.
