WARPS or the "Wargaming And Roleplaying Society" is based in University College Cork. More information on the society can be found at the Society's very active website http://uccwarps.org
WARPS meets officially once a week for gaming during the academic year. Cardgaming, RPGs, Wargaming and LARPs are all facilitated on these gaming nights. After gaming, WARPs members like to retire to the pub and socialise over a few drinks. WARPS members are also keen to attend as many gaming conventions as possible during the academic year.
WARPS' main annual event is the co-ordination and hosting of Warpcon - which is Ireland's largest student organised gaming convention. Other events during the year include a GM Training Weekend, the Masquerade Ball and the all important WARPS barbecue.
