The 4th Dimension stocked most popular Roleplaying systems like "White Wolf" and "Dungeons and Dragons" as well as less known systems such as "Riddle of Steel" or "Serenity". Owned by Gavin Cassells who was joined by Dave O'Brien (both ex-UCD Games Society Auditors) the shop branched out into CCGs, miniatures and board games. Miniature lines carried currently include "Confrontation", "Warmachine" and "Starship Troopers" as well as collectible lines like "Axis and Allies" and "Star Wars". Anything not in stock was usually obtainable. The shop was open seven days a week.

Regrettably, the 4th Dimension closed in 2008 when their building was repurposed and they were unable to find appropriate retail space elsewhere.
