Warpcon is finally here, and we’re sitting in the main hall setting everything up. Looking forward to when the doors open at 5pm.

The con is only days away now, so there are some new updates you should check out. The finalised timetables have been published in the timetable section. The games section have all been update, there were some minor changes to the games mostly the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic got a face change.
In the About section a new tab has been added with the layout of the con around the UCC campus

As the con draws even closer we finally get a draft of the timetable of the event that can make its way to the viewing eyes of our loyal attendees. Hopefully the delay hasn’t put ye off. For those interested in trolling ye should check it out and let Sarah (warpconstaff@gmail.com) know which of the slots ye would like to be free because of that game you are dying to play

Sorry for the delays in getting these precious updates out to ye but we were having some technical difficulities. Check out the LARP, RPG and Wargames section of the site as these got a nice go of updates this evening. There should be some more updates carried out tomorrow and the next few days. Warpcon is looking for volunteers (aka Trolls) to help out over the weekend! As a Troll you get a load of free (mostly sugary!) stuff and free entry to the con. All you have to do is help out! Please join this group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/177044302306514/ if you want to troll and, when it gets closer to the time, we’ll organize trolling times through it.

You can now buy your weekend tickets for Warpcon XXII by clicking the tickets link at the top of the page. For those of you interested in day passes they will be available shortly.
Also available is a Connonball Run Ticket these tickets are priced €35 and get you entry to Warpcon XXII, Itzacon 8 and Leprecon 33. Thats right you get 3 whole weekends of gaming for €35.

So the overhaul of the website is now underway so that it is crammed full of info for Warpcon XXII. Please bear with us while we try and get all the info up on the site. But if you would like to relive the happy times that were Warpcon XXI: The Warpcon of Tomorrow check out the new archive section where all the important info about the bye-gone cons (well just Warpcon XXI, we are building it from here) will be such as game blurbs and special guests.

Only 2 days til Warpcon now! Everything is finally falling into place and it looks like smooth sailing ahead. Of course it always looks like that the day before the convention begins. I hope to see a good turnout again this year and I wish you all an awesome weekend of non-stop gaming or drinking as the case may be!
