Looks interesting.  I've done both larp and airsoft, and was quite
interested in the idea of combining the two.

I have a few questions:
Is there likely to be any provision for the use of bows or thrown weapons?
What sort of ammo limits are likely to be in play?  A melee character isn't
going to stand a chance if there are people out there with hi-caps.

Hi All,

I'm looking for fresh blood for a Ravenloft campaign planned to start in
August. The game is to be held in Dun Laoghaire or Dublin City on 
Fridays.

Ravenloft is a gothic horror setting and we will be using the Pathfinder
RPG for rules. The game will be low fantasy and low magic with a tinge

The campaign will follow the journey  of an expedition, setting out from
the civilized lands of the core. The  group is funded by a Dr. Freidrich
Ehrlichmann; an acomplished  geographer, cartographer and sociologist.
He is updating an archaic  atlas of the realms and needs to measure the
misty border at key points.

Acceptable countries of origin within Ravenloft.
Lamordia (Germany just before the industrial revolution.)
Mordent (Rural northern England. Forests, moors and hauntings.)
Dementleu (Close to renaissance France, known for rural production and

Nova Vasa (A Spanish realm, known for a trade

 The last airsoft game I ran, which incorporated a few role-playing
elements, drew a bit of interest from the gaming community, so
belatedly I publicise Ops here.

 This is an airsoft event based on the Irish gaming con model.
There'll be five games as it runs from Friday evening (err, yeah, this
Friday) to Sunday evening.

 The nature of the beast is that you'll need your own kit, although
begging, borrowing and stealing have worked in the past.  Bare minimum
we're talking about is boots, goggles (these can be rented on-site
though), and an airsoft gun with some non-winding magazines, which if
you're feeling flush can be purchased to own forever at the event.
