That's the Shane alright. Excellent; once the con scene quietens down a
bit I'll be running an in-house mini-convention again, and this is exactly
the sort of thing that'd be ideal. Also means there'd be more than four
players for it. Thanks, I'll be in touch!

But if you're in Dublin (the Shane from the Adventuring Party?) we could

Yeah, I'm one of the developers/proofers/editors on 'Hell For Leather' by
the excellent Sebastian Hickey, and it's definitely heading towards
publishing.

In fact, some of the last rounds of playtesting will be at Leprecon.

Thanks for all the other suggestions - '23rd Letter' is a great example of
what I was looking for.

Joe.

Anything by Crucible Design, including the "23rd Letter" RPG.

Anything by Wasteland Games, including the Heretics RPG and STOCS Lite.

There's a crowd called Cobweb Games operating right now who I think are
allowing folk to download beta stuff but who aim to go commercial - Cobweb
Games. http://cobwebgames.com/

There've been a few.

Crucible Games published 23rd Letter, SpaceNinjaCyberCrisis XDO &
Qabal, that I can remember right now. Wasteland produced STOCS and
the few settings books, all of which are still available online here -
http://www.iworg.com/waste/

Alan McNevin's Dark Obsidian also qualifies.

There are others, but that's the initial haul that my brain is
bringing up right now.

Have there been any published, Irish roleplaying games?

I'm defining that as games written by an author based here or from here, and
for sale at any price. Ideally, with content owned by the creator, or by a
small group or company. So I'm not thinking of Gar Hanrahan's contributions
to Mongoose, say.

I can only think of one - an X-Files inspired conspiracy game using the
STOCS-lite system, published in 1994 or so. I can't remember what it was
called.

Joe.

Star Trek Online - www.startrekonline.com - has been live for the past week,

If anyone's playing and looking for a fleet, you might want to take a look
